Business Hours
Business hours define when your salon is open. The appointment booking flow uses these hours to limit when clients can be scheduled — slots outside your opening hours aren’t offered.
Only owners and admins can edit business hours.
Setting weekly opening hours
Section titled “Setting weekly opening hours”- Go to Settings → Salon Details → Opening Hours.
- For each day of the week:
- Toggle the day on if your salon is open that day.
- Set the opening time and closing time.
- Tap Save.
Days toggled off are treated as closed — no appointment slots will be generated on those days.
Date overrides
Section titled “Date overrides”Date overrides let you adjust hours for specific dates without changing your weekly schedule. Use them for:
- Public holidays (closed or reduced hours)
- Special events or seasonal adjustments
- Temporary closures
Adding an override
Section titled “Adding an override”- Go to Settings → Salon Details → Opening Hours.
- Scroll to the Date Overrides section and tap Add Override.
- Select the date.
- Either set specific hours for that date, or mark the day as Closed.
- Save.
The override appears in the list and takes effect on the specified date.
Editing or removing an override
Section titled “Editing or removing an override”Tap an override to edit it, or swipe to delete it. Deleting it restores normal hours for that date.
How business hours interact with staff availability
Section titled “How business hours interact with staff availability”Business hours set the outer boundary for bookings, but staff availability sets a tighter inner boundary. An appointment can only be booked when:
- The salon is open (based on business hours or overrides), and
- The staff member is available (based on their schedule and overrides)
If a staff member’s availability extends beyond salon hours, the booking flow still caps slots at the salon’s closing time.
Staff vs. salon hours
Section titled “Staff vs. salon hours”Staff availability is managed separately from salon hours. A staff member working different hours than the salon — for example, starting later — should have their own availability configured to reflect this.
