Inviting Staff Members
Add team members to your salon by sending them an email invitation. Each person joins with their own Glowcheck account linked to your salon.
Sending an invitation
Section titled “Sending an invitation”- Go to the Staff tab.
- Tap the + button in the top-right corner.
- Enter the staff member’s email address.
- Select their role — Admin or Staff (see Staff Roles and Permissions).
- Tap Send Invitation.
Glowcheck sends an invitation email with a registration link. The person appears in your staff list as Pending until they complete registration.
Only owners and admins can send invitations.
Accepting an invitation
Section titled “Accepting an invitation”Your team member will receive an email with a link. When they tap it:
- Glowcheck opens (or they’ll be prompted to download it).
- They set their name and password.
- They complete a short onboarding flow to configure their initial availability.
Once complete, they appear as an active staff member and can log in to view the salon’s schedule.
Pending invitations
Section titled “Pending invitations”Pending invitations are shown in the Staff tab beneath active staff members. Each shows the invited email address and an expiration date.
Cancelling an invitation
Section titled “Cancelling an invitation”If you no longer want to invite someone, swipe left on their pending entry and tap Cancel. The invitation link becomes invalid.
Expired invitations
Section titled “Expired invitations”If an invitation passes its expiration date before being accepted, cancel it and resend a fresh invitation.
After someone joins
Section titled “After someone joins”Once a team member has accepted:
- Assign them to the services they perform — Assigning Services to Staff
- Review or adjust their availability — Managing Staff Availability
- Update their role if needed — Staff Roles and Permissions
