Setting Up Your Salon
When you create a new owner account, Glowcheck walks you through a guided setup. Each step builds on the last, so work through them in order. You can revisit and edit everything later from Settings.
Step 1 — Find your business location
Section titled “Step 1 — Find your business location”Search for your salon by name or address. Glowcheck uses your location to pre-fill address details and help clients find you. Select your salon from the results and confirm the details on the next screen.
If your salon isn’t listed, you can enter the address manually.
Step 2 — Salon details
Section titled “Step 2 — Salon details”Review and complete your salon’s basic information:
- Salon name — the name your clients know you by
- Address — street, city, and postal code
- Currency — used for service pricing throughout the app
- Timezone — ensures appointment times are accurate
Step 3 — Opening hours
Section titled “Step 3 — Opening hours”Set the days and hours your salon is open. These become the default window for booking appointments. You can update them at any time from Settings → Salon Details → Opening Hours.
Step 4 — Workstations
Section titled “Step 4 — Workstations”Add the physical stations in your salon (chairs, styling stations, treatment rooms, etc.). Workstations are used to prevent double-booking the same chair.
Give each workstation a clear name (e.g. “Chair 1”, “Treatment Room A”) so your team can identify them when booking.
You need at least one workstation to start taking appointments.
Step 5 — Services
Section titled “Step 5 — Services”Choose from Glowcheck’s suggested service list or create your own. Each service needs:
- Name — what you call the service
- Duration — how long it takes (in minutes)
- Price — what you charge
You can add more services, update pricing, and assign staff to services at any time from Settings → Services.
Step 6 — Subscription
Section titled “Step 6 — Subscription”After setup, you’ll be prompted to choose a Glowcheck Gold plan. Your trial gives you full access for a limited time — no commitment required to continue setup.

Resuming a paused setup
Section titled “Resuming a paused setup”If you close the app mid-setup, your progress is saved. Reopen Glowcheck and you’ll be returned to where you left off.
Editing your setup later
Section titled “Editing your setup later”Everything configured during setup can be changed from Settings:
