Rescheduling an Appointment

When a client needs to change their appointment time, use the Amend action to reschedule it. This keeps a clean record of the change rather than deleting and recreating the booking.

  1. Open the appointment from the Calendar tab.
  2. Tap Amend.
  3. The booking form opens, pre-filled with the existing appointment details.
  4. Navigate to the date and time step and pick the new slot.
  5. Adjust the workstation if needed.
  6. Tap Confirm to save the new time.

The appointment is updated with the new time and marked as Amended. It appears in the calendar at its new slot.

When you amend an appointment:

  • Changes: Date, time, workstation, and optionally duration/price
  • Stays the same: Client, staff member, service, and notes (unless you edit them)

If you need to change the client, service, or staff member — not just the time — use Edit instead of Amend. Edit gives you access to all fields in the appointment.

If an email reminder was scheduled, it is updated to reflect the new appointment time. If the reminder had already been sent before you rescheduled, a new reminder will be scheduled for the new time (if reminders are still enabled).

If the client can’t find a new time and wants to cancel entirely, use Cancel Appointment instead. Cancelled appointments are not shown on the calendar.
