Understanding the Calendar

The Calendar tab is the main scheduling view for your salon. It shows all upcoming appointments across your entire team.

At the top of the calendar you’ll see a week strip — a row of seven days. Tap any day to jump to it. Use the arrow buttons to move forward or backward by a week. Tap Today to return to the current date.

The selected day is highlighted, and the main view updates to show only appointments for that day.

You can switch between display modes using the view toggle in the top-right corner of the calendar:

Appointments are grouped in columns by staff member. Each staff member has their own colour, making it easy to see who is busy and when. This is the default view for salons with multiple staff.

Appointments are grouped by workstation (chair, treatment room, etc.) instead of by person. Useful if your workflow is more station-based than person-based.

A single-column, hour-by-hour layout. Best for drilling into a specific time of day and seeing appointment durations at a glance.

A condensed list view with less vertical spacing. Useful when you want to scan a busy day quickly.

Each appointment block shows:

  • Client name
  • Service name
  • Time and duration
  • Staff member (colour-coded)
  • Status indicator (confirmed, pending, completed, etc.)

The calendar spans from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM by default. If you have appointments outside that range, the view adjusts automatically.

StatusMeaning
PendingBooked but not yet confirmed
ConfirmedConfirmed with the client
CompletedThe appointment has taken place
CancelledCancelled — hidden from the calendar
No-showClient did not attend

Tap any appointment block to open its detail view, where you can confirm, complete, cancel, or edit it.
